Spring is settling in, and the ski season is drawing to a gentle close on the Plateau des Glières. The tracks may fade, but the sensations linger — the rhythm, the breath, that quiet energy of moving forward without forcing the terrain.

As an architect and passionate cross-country skier, I recognize a simple truth: the most exquisite balances rarely appear in haste. They are discovered in motion, guided by technique, mastery… and a touch of freedom.

This is exactly what I find at the Club Nordique des Glières. A club rooted in its landscape, driven by enduring values: perseverance, respect, commitment, and camaraderie. Behind the remarkable results of these young athletes this season lies, above all, a genuine dedication that is quietly inspiring.
